About Us

Dare to rise. Dare to be.

We are going through a turning point. Women no longer fit into the same roles.

What was once silence is now a voice.

What was once waiting is now choice.

We have seen a woman become president of the country. The greatest soccer player in history reach her prime on the field.

Laws were created to protect our bodies and our image.

On the other hand, femicide crimes have increased significantly, still trying to silence us.

We were struck by a pandemic, but also by a certainty: women will no longer return to the place they once held.

Representation, voice, and female presence have been consolidated. And even though much still remains to be done, we are no longer the same.

The blog Ouse Acontecer was born from this turning point, from this deep call many of us feel when restarting after 40, 50, 60... After motherhood, separation, pain, exhaustion, or simply the desire to listen to ourselves again.

Here, we talk about well-being and courage, self-esteem and new beginnings, practical life and dreams kept inside. We talk about what moves the woman who, even afraid, decides to live more truthfully.

We are inspired by women who wrote their own revolutions and dared to happen.

Like Narges Mohammadi, who, even imprisoned for fighting for women's rights in Iran, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Or Karina Pescharki, a Brazilian who overcame rare diseases and the amputation of a leg, and today shares her journey of courage.

We also have Sonia Guimarães, the first black woman with a PhD in Physics in Brazil, recognized by Bloomberg as one of the 100 most innovative people in Latin America. And also Bárbara Carine, who won the Jabuti Prize in Education and founded the first Afro-Brazilian school in the country.

These women, along with many others, are the mirror of a possible future. Ouse Acontecer is an invitation for you to see yourself, take care of yourself, stand up... and dare to be who you were born to be.

Manifesto Dare to Happen

We are women in motion.
Between who we were...

And who we choose to be now.

We care for others.
But we have learned to care for ourselves.

We were silence.
Today, we are voice.
We once faded away.
Now, we reignite.

We are no longer the same
and we don’t want to be.

We are made of pauses and new beginnings.
Of stories that hurt and heal.
Of courage born from exhaustion.

We are the woman who rises, even while crying.
Who dares to start over, even when afraid.
Who believes, even after falling.

We don’t need to be ready.
We only need to want it.

Here, falling is not the end:
it’s a turning point.
Here, vulnerability is a bridge,
not shame.

This is a space for those who haven’t given up.
For those who, little by little, are returning to themselves.
For those who dare to exist, whole.

Dare to feel.
Dare to change.
Dare to be you.

Dare to Happen.
